InterNIC is the company that sets up the actual domain name. For example if you want to setup a new domain, we have to go to InterNIC and submit a form so they can assign you the domain name. This is how InterNIC's payment plan works. First they bill you for 2 years in advance. That comes out to $70. Once the 2 years is up, then they charge you yearly for $35 a year. InterNIC will bill you through e-mail, then they will send you a hard copy through postal mail.
