Check the space on your account

To check how much disk space you are using on your account. Simply follow the instructions below.

1). First you must log into your account through telnet. If you do not know how to use telnet, please click here for the telnet FAQ.

2). Once you are in telnet. Type:
cd /usr/www/htdocs/userid/
Please make sure to change the userid part to your user id. For example we would replace the userid part with hspro.

3). Now, once you have switched into that folder. Then you must type:
du
Now a long list of files will appear on your telnet screen. Wait till the whole list finishes, then at the end you will get a set of numbers. 1000 would mean 1Meg, and 500 would mean 500k etc....
