Change your account Password

Please note. That if you are changing your password, to make sure you change it to a password that you will remember. Because of this new option, we do not keep customer passwords in our database any more. Therefor it is vital that you remember that password or right it down some where. To change your account password, you must have telnet knowledge. Please click here to learn how to use telnet.

1). First, you must log into your account via telnet.

2). Once you are logged into your account, simply type:
passwd
and it will prompt you for your current password, then it will ask you to enter your new password. Please be careful and do not forget to right down your new password so you remember it.

Please note, that this password change will effect your ftp access password, telnet access password, and your e-mail password.
