How do I setup my e-mail
This section will give you information on
how to setup your e-mail system. We use a very powerful e-mail program on our server. Even
if our server is down, our e-mail program will collect all e-mails sent to you, and once
the server is back up and running, it will send the e-mail right to you. So you will not
have to worry about loosing e-mail. To setup your pop3(e-mail) account, please follow the
simple instructions below.
1). Your HotSpot e-mail address will work
with any popular e-mail program. When your e-mail program asks you for the incoming or
outgoing server information, just simply put your domain name for both fields. For example
hspro.com. Next, it will ask you for a user name, or better known as a pop3 account. Just
simply put your domain name with out the .com, .net, .org, or .edu extension. For example
hspro.
2). So your primary e-mail address is your
userid @ yourdomain.com. But if you do not like that address, that is no problem. Just
simply send mail to anything @ yourdomain.com and it will get sent to your primary e-mail
address. And no one will ever know your primary e-mail address. Just make sure to place
your desired e-mail address in the reply address, for example webmaster @ hspro.com. As we
mentioned above, we have a very powerful e-mail program. If mail is sent to anything
@ your-domain.com, it will automatically get forwarded to your primary e-mail address
3). And that's it, you can now send and
receive e-mail. Some e-mail programs require more information. If this is the case. Please
feel free to e-mail us at webmaster@hspro.com and
we will be more than happy to help you with any questions you might have.
